Her character development is excellent, with the reader quickly feeling he/she "knows" these people. In reviewing Ditchkus's books, I intended to read the first and stop there but the writing is so well researched and descriptions and plots are so excellent that I was quickly drawn into the second book and now the third.

As someone who has wondered about the existence of creatures like the Sasquatch, I was excited to dive into this novel. In CRIMES OF THE SASQUATCH, the setting in the Colorado mountains was fitting and a good choice. The characters were intriguing... What a wild ride and the suspense kept me hooked throughout the story from start to finish. ...I found Dylan to be an intriguing character who balanced his responsibilities and internal compass well. I thought the mix of the realistic with the mythology of the Sasquatch was enjoyable... I enjoyed the cover and how it looks like it’s turning the page and revealing the Sasquatch – it’s clever and cute and works well. Overall, I thought this was a well-crafted and enjoyable tale and imagine that the sequel will be just as entertaining.

In Ditchkus' MISSION OF THE SASQUATCH, we fall in love with Dylan's storyline and how he breathes fresh air into the sasquatch concept. The novel works due to strong, incredible characters and wonderfully intimate point of views, but also because Sasquatch is a vehicle to a deeper story, not necessarily the story itself. Overall, Ditchkus is an obviously talented writer, and I'm interested to see what the first and third book of this series has to offer.

In LEGACY OF THE SASQUATCH, I enjoyed how the author took a fun, interesting and mysterious creature and created an intriguing suspenseful novel out of it. One that is not silly but intelligent and believable. The author successfully shows what the "transfer" is without having to break down any kind of explanation. How that is revealed was supremely done. The characters are well-developed and relatable. The pace throughout the book is just right.

I was immediately hooked and read the entire book in two days.

Okay, I have to admit it. I'm hooked on this series. My skepticism about Sasquatches and a series of books about the possibility of Sasquatches by a new author rests firmly in the past after speeding through this third book. Without giving anything away, the story keeps getting better as the main character, Dylan, must face more than one uncomfortable reality. The author's ability to put readers in astonishingly creative settings is nothing short of delightful. I can't wait to see where Ditchkus takes us next.

Amazon feedback about Crimes of the Sasquatch:

Great book! Very compelling read, with twists I didn’t foresee. The author really paints a descriptive picture of the setting and the characters-I was very drawn in. Good mystery that left me wanting to read more!

Crimes of the Sasquatch is very well written, with interesting characters and a good plot. I loved the small mountain town setting and all the hiking references.... Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Amazon feedback about Mission of the Sasquatch:
Ditchkus delivers again in this second book of the Sasquatch Series; everything about this story is unique! Book I left me wanting to know what happens next, and now I can't wait to see what we'll discover in Book III. The main character's journey, both physically and emotionally, is compelling, and the "mysterious story" he hears is intriguing and beautiful. Pieces seem to be coming together, but we don't get all the answers, and I want more!
